Should I Go To My Famiy Practice Doctor For a faster working Anti Anxiety Medications?

I’m taking buspar for anxiety because MHMR Doesn’t allow “addictive benzodiazepines” to be prescribed!So I was perscribed buspar, Social situations are difficult, and it takes 4 to 6 weeks for Buspar to work, so…….. would it be a good Idea to just to go to my family practice doc to get something else? I’ve got school in less than 2 weeks and I can’t afford to wait 4 weeks!!! Any words of advice?
